The European platform on social farming is part of a process of participatory exchange between researchers and different stakeholders that aims to improve knowledge and awareness about the topic. Herewith, we provide a report of the first international meeting of the platform, held in Brussels on the 18-19th October 2007, bringing together delegations from Italy, Slovenia, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Ireland. This meeting provided the first opportunity to exchange country/regional findings and to start discussing a trans-national view of social farming. |
